Steak Kabobs with Garlic Butter

adapted from Dinner at the Zoo

1 lb sirloin steak (you can use other cuts if you want to) cut into 1 inch pieces

1 cup mushrooms (optional)

1 green bell pepper, diced into 1inch pieces

1 onion, cut into 1 inch pieces

Any other veggies you want to add (I added zucchini)

salt and pepper to taste

3 Tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 Tablespoon chopped parsley

Thread the beef, mushrooms, pepper, onion, and other veggies onto skewers.

Season with salt and pepper.

Place the kabobs on the grill and cook 4-5 minutes per side on medium high heat.

Melt butter in a small pan and add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Remove pan from heat and stir in parsley and salt to taste.

Brush the garlic butter all over the steak kabobs, and serve.

Broiler directions: Place skewers on a sheet pan coated with cooking spray and broil 4-5 minutes per side. Continue with recipe as directed.
